The course was really everything that I needed at exactly the right time in our journey

I came into the course a bit apprehensive - not really knowing if we should be there - as we don't even feel like real business owners - we are effectively winging it

We are nearly three years into running our business - and things are going well - but some of the issues we have were highlighted by the contents of the course with Mark - we have just left our storming phase! And we don't currently have a detailed plan of where we want to be - what our end game is and why we are even doing this!

What the blueprint has specifically done is shift the way we think. To think bigger - effectively taking ourselves out of the day to day business and focus on running and building a successful business. It's made it very clear that this isn't even that hard to achieve - but we do need to set gateway targets in order to progress and grow the business to become a £1mil per year business in the next 5 years

The best thing about the course is we have instantly come away with changes to the business which we have implemented already, we have a clear defined plan for the remainder of 2023 - and we are already forming a plan for 2024, 2025, 2026 and on and on and on

What really helped me personally with this course is remaining positive, focussing on emotional control, focussing on hard work and being disciplined!

The two day Business Blueprint course with Mark Hobbs was exactly what I needed at the exact time I needed it.

As a new advisor in the industry I had been so preoccupied with learning the trade that I hadn't given any time to thinking any further into the future than a few months.

Marks session instantly made me think bigger, define what I wanted and the actual reason why!

Not only setting emotionally connected goals but bench marks to hit along the way. I've already created a logical plan and had a meeting with Joel to start actioning step one of my plan.

I really enjoyed the two days with Mark on the Blueprint course.

It has motivated me to move forward with the business and lay some foundations for 2022.

I knew I needed to change my mindset and be more positive and this really has kicked me into doing that and wanting to do that. Also, knowing that we are meeting monthly and going to have the Whatsapp group means that we are going to be reminded of our goals and actions, so there won't be any slacking.

It's great that we have a network that continues to want to help their advisers and for Mark to take 2 days out of his schedule to spend with us really means a lot and that is motivation in itself. Attending the course with Mark and my cohort has been one of the most challenging and exciting experiences of my working life!

Mark is such a storyteller who uses his personal anecdotes to bring the blueprint to life- so much so it's hard not to get swept away with enthusiasm.

But Blueprint is more than just stories though, it's highly practical concrete advice wrapped up with inspirational wisdom.

There were so many important takeaways for me to work on personally but the one that resonated the most was as an AR without employees, or partners, I'm self-employed rather than a business owner - a distinction that I feel more than ever at present!

Mark has laid out a route to manage this transition to being a business owner for any of us willing to try.

I wouldn't say that attending has made the road ahead easier - far from it! It's made me examine my motivations, question my actions and challenge my beliefs; But it's also given me a map and a compass to navigate the next part of this journey which will take me from being self-employed to running a real business.

Time spent away from my desk, being at the smart new London office, with likeminded advisors was uplifting and revitalising and I can absolutely recommend it. Supercharge your business, supercharge yourself and do the blueprint!

I recently attended the Blueprint training course. The course itself was intimate, with just myself and 3 other New leaf members. The training was very concentrated. The other members where in a similar position to myself, as we all shared a desire to move our businesses forward. The course is built to make you look at yourself both now and in the future. It tests boundaries and strips everything back.

As I was with likeminded members the group formed a bond quickly and although we challenged each other's opinions, this was done in a respectful way. The guest speakers were informative, knowledgeable and shared best practices in growing a business. Overall I felt the two days was very thought provoking and well worth the time and energy you invest.

I cannot recommend doing the blueprint course enough. It's too easy to get lost in the day to day noise of our business. Taking 2 days to really step out and reflect on the business and myself was more important than I realised. The transition from employed to starting my own business was something I was excited and also a little scared about. The reason I wanted to come to the blue print event was because I wanted take away more motivation, self reflection and understanding how to think like a business owner and not a advisor.
